Exciting times at St Benild School

The exciting times at St Benild School continued this month with a number of memorable events taking place.

Lasallian Leavening Fund - Kick off of our Agricultural Project

Thanks to the Lasallian Leavening Fund, the St Benild Community will be growing various fruit and vegetables on our school roof. This project is being carried out in collaboration with Let's Talk Farming Programme, which also provided expertise on the agricultural aspect. Many thanks to our District of Ireland, Great Britain and Malta for believing in our project.

Wonder Woman's Day at St Benild School

On Friday , 7th March we were lucky to welcome a group of girls from the Malta Football Association Academy, to showcase their football skills in celebration of International Women's Day. An enjoyable opportunity for all. A carnation for all members of staff as a token of appreciation was also given by La Salle Malta.

Our Lady of Sorrows Procession

On Friday, 21st March we upheld our yearly tradition of the Our Lady of Sorrows procession together with senior school staff and students.  Together we thought about Mary's sorrows along the way from school to Sacro Cour Parish Church. Prayer and song made this procession very meaningful.

Celebrating Diversity at St. Benild School

All the St Benild students and staff wore mismatched socks in celebration of World Down Syndrome Day 2025.  During the day we discussed the importance of believing in, supporting and including all our friends, because we can all achieve great things!

Lenten Sessions at St. Benild School

During this special season, Lenten sessions led by Mr David Portelli, our Lasallian lay chaplain are under way. So many themes are being discussed amongst them being blessed and making the right choices. Th pupils enjoyed meeting Mat the Monkey!
