Embracing new experiences at Macroom
Students at De La Salle College Macroom have displayed their talents in a variety of ways over the past few weeks as they continue to embrace many new experiences.
Young Scientist
Conor Creedon (4th Year) was at the RDS in Dublin representing De La Salle College Macroom at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. Conor's project is titled 'The Evolution of Celebrated Cinema: An Investigation into why certain critically acclaimed movies from the last 100 years are so highly praised'. We are so proud of Conor here at De La Salle, what an achievement!
Technology
Filip Pietrzak and Diarmuid O’Donoghue with their tables made during fourth year Technology Class. The boys assembled the whole project by cutting out the table top and learning how to make handcrafted joints for the legs.
Biology
First years enjoying their heart dissection class.
School of Art
TY students are engaging in an art module facilitated by the Macroom School of Art. There is a really vibrant atmosphere in the class as it allows the students to express themselves through various artistic mediums. Well done lads!
